I want to highlight several locations in Switzerland for a wedding and refute the opinion that Switzerland is only mountains and views.
Choosing locations I take into account the availability of logistics, the possibility for cool decorations, and the staff service level, which needs to be approached with special control in Switzerland.
1) Beau Rivage Palace
The hotel complex in Lausanne offers a stunning view from rooms on Lake Geneva. This hotel has everything for a luxurious event and relaxation after it. Antique banquet rooms, private rooms, panoramic restaurants, spa, and swimming pools. The wedding ceremony or afterparty can be held on a private boat rented from the hotel.
Room rates: from 630 CHF / night based on double occupancy depending on the season.
2) Sandoase Basel
Shortly moving from Swizterland to the tropics for a day and celebrate your event there? Now problems. Sandoase includes a panoramic loft with a sunset view that can accommodate 120 people and a unique bar with sand and palm trees.
Sandoase as a venue perfectly fits my favorite wedding format like a wedding party! A huge space for decor, shows, for involving guests in the program. For the brave and creative couples!. The only thing to consider is that the venue is open from April to September and cannot accommodate guests.
3) Hotel Eden Roc
It's a beauty on Lake Maggiore in Ascona! The 5-star hotel offers 4 delicious restaurants with terraces, luxurious rooms, and the possibility of a nice ceremony by the pool. One of the restaurants even has a Michelin star. There are three ancient spots for church weddings close by! Hotel Eden Roc also offers a spa and water sports right at the pier!
Room rates: from 800 CHF / night based on double occupancy depending on the season.
The historic 17th-century castle is located in Lucerne. The interior is completely dedicated to the Rococo style. And I would like to notify the Orangery banquet hall with panoramic windows and a view of the garden. It is so neutral that you can endlessly play with decorations, wall decorations, and hanging structures to give the event a conceptual atmosphere.
Another non-standard event location near Zurich should not be overlooked. The idea to build gardens was realized in three halls. Each of the halls is planned for a different number of guests and is literally buried in greenery. Here I won't say much here! I just want to embrace crazy ideas for planning an event for stylish clients who are open to the new and the unexpected!
I tried to diversify your idea of where you can host an event in Switzerland. I think I achieved it. Don't be afraid to experiment with the concept, allow yourself a cool event to be talked about. Let's break stereotypes together and make cool events in Switzerland!
